Promotions Specialist - Extended Universty Programs at Buena Vista University in Lakeside, Iowa

Job Description:

Buena Vista University is seeking candidates for a Promotions Specialist for the Extended University Programs (EUP) division on the Storm Lake campus. As a vital team member, this position will provide operational support to the Directors of Strategic Partnerships, Online Programs, Graduate Programs, and the Vice President for Extended University Programs. The role will be instrumental in coordinating special projects that drive recruitment, retention, and outreach efforts across multiple divisions.


Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple special projects that include event registrations, logistics, and sponsorship details under the guidance of the director.


• Coordinate collateral distribution, giveaways, and mailings.


• Support the Strategic Partnership division with updates to business tool kits, press releases, and employment verification.


• Develop and update numerous promotional materials, social media posts, and transfer guides.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree is required.


• Proactive team player who's ready to jump in wherever needed and support the team in achieving its goals.


• Strong project management skills, ensuring tasks are completed with accuracy and timeliness.


• Ability to manage shared calendars, event logistics, and collateral orders.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn Canva and InDesign.


• The ability to work successfully and collaboratively with internal and external constituents is essential and the willingness to work collaboratively as a team.
