Description: Our client is currently seeking a Mobile MEDICAL ASSISTANT to work at their clinics in San Antonio.




Position Title: Certified Medical Assistant (Mobile Team)





Top Responsibilities:

Perform all duties within the scope of a Certified Medical Assistant, including injections, diagnostic testing, and phlebotomy.

Coordinate healthcare screening results according to provider instructions, company standards, and policies.

Travel with the mobile team to clinics and centralized locations to support contracted physician networks by conducting screening clinics.

Room patients following company standards.

Adhere to physician office guidelines while conducting screenings onsite at contracted clinics.

Arrive at clinics at least 15 minutes early to introduce the team, set up equipment, and prepare designated exam rooms.

Organize onsite clinics, ensuring all equipment and supplies are prepared before patient appointments.

Conduct all quality program health screenings per required metrics.

Process documents accurately and ensure all physicians receive copies of patient results and quality forms.

Review patient screening forms and medical records for outstanding screenings and referral information (e.g., colonoscopies, mammograms).

Record accurate patient care documentation per company policies.

Conduct post-audits on submissions to ensure compliance with quality program guidelines and resubmit any rejected items.

Review patient medical information, test results, and survey questions for accuracy before the patient leaves.

Promptly report abnormal results to the provider to address urgent conditions.

Prepare mobile team charts post-clinic for faxing, filing, and forwarding to PCP offices.

Compile results and enter information into utilization reports for management.

Act as a liaison between the mobile team, physician business managers, and contracted PCP offices, ensuring accurate reporting and offering solutions to improve quality goals.

Coordinate with providers and contracted PCP groups for timely submissions to the Data Raps department.

Maintain confidentiality and ensure proper release of patient information.

Maintain certifications (MA and CPR) and adhere to quality control standards.

Participate in marketing events as needed.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Current, nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification.
  
  


• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  
  


• Basic computer literacy.
  
  


• Knowledge of medical terminology.
  
  


• Familiarity with ICD-9 and CPT coding.
  
  


• Ability to remain calm and act effectively in emergency situations.
  
  


• Strong communication and customer service skills.
  
  


• Flexibility and adaptability to change.
  
  


• Reliable transportation for daily travel to various clinics within the assigned market.
  
  

Certifications:

• Current, nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification.
  
  


• Current Provider BLS certification.
  
  

Work Details:

• 
  Shift Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
  
  


• 
  Workdays per Week: 5.
  
  


• 
  Dress Code: Scrubs (blue/gray).
  
  

Location:

• Travel is required daily, generally to one clinic location per shift, within San Antonio and surrounding areas (e.g., New Braunfels, Seguin, Boerne, Kerrville, Pleasanton).
