We are looking for 2 student employees to help support initiatives within the Gary Works Steelmaking Division, in order to improve efficiencies and streamline processes.
Student Employee Project 1:
Defining a mapping of electricity usage to production using a combination of real time and monthly readings to give a visualization of the most accurate analytical picture possible given current metering
Identification of additional/improved metering opportunities which render additional accuracy to the analysis
Student Employee Project 2:
Defining KPI's and creating visual management tools for KPI's in steelmaking
Requirements:
Candidates must be a full-time student pursuing a Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree
Candidates must be a current student and have completed their sophomore year by June 2024 and be in good academic standing
Be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
