Whether your background is in computer science, information systems, or a related technical field, you can thrive in this role. We don't require a particular degree, but we're looking for translatable skills and relevant expertise. Specifically, we're looking for the following qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator in an equivalent field of focus

  • Proven ability to manage an end-point environment in a scalable fashion

  • Ability to troubleshoot throughout the OSI model

About The Role:

As a Network Engineer, you'll take charge of building, maintaining, and overseeing a key area within the Engineering team, bringing top-notch technical expertise to the table. Your focus will be on networking-supporting, configuring, and maintaining both wired and wireless network infrastructure, including routers and switches. You'll also play a critical role in keeping our networks secure and running smoothly across cloud and on-premises environments.

Here's a snapshot of what you'd be doing:

  • Keeping documentation up to date on systems, network setups, policies, and procedures, making sure everything is stored in one easy-to-find place.

  • Working with Systems Architects and fellow engineers to fine-tune network design and ensure we're set up for scalability and reliability.

  • Staying on top of upgrades and routine maintenance, following best practices to keep things running smoothly.

  • Helping other Technology teams by sharing knowledge and providing support through cross-training and admin tools.

  • Partnering with Systems Administrators to make sure support tickets are handled quickly and efficiently.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to create a secure, reliable, and efficient IT environment.

  • Designing, configuring, and maintaining both wired and wireless network infrastructure, ensuring strong performance and high availability.

  • Troubleshooting network performance issues using tools like Wireshark.

  • Implementing security best practices, like VLAN segmentation and access control lists (ACLs), to keep our networks protected.

  • Managing and optimizing networking across both cloud and on-premises environments.

  • Handling network upgrades, patches, and maintenance while keeping downtime to a minimum.

  • Taking the lead on network capacity planning and performance optimization to support the company's growth.

  • Pitching in wherever needed (excluding licensed tasks) to help foster a supportive and collaborative team culture.

About You:

  • Details matter to you, and you've got an eye for catching the little things that make a big difference.

  • Change doesn't throw you off-you're adaptable, thrive in fast-paced environments, and can juggle multiple priorities while staying on top of deadlines.

  • You excel in team settings, bringing a cooperative spirit and positivity that helps everyone succeed.

  • Providing top-notch customer service comes naturally to you.

  • You're comfortable working independently and figuring things out as you go.

  • You're eager to learn new technology and pick up new skills quickly.

  • You love solving problems and tackling challenges head-on.

  • You have a sharp analytical mind and make thoughtful, data-driven decisions.

  • With a strong work ethic and a demonstrated ability to work well under pressure, you're the type of person people can trust to get things done.

  • You know how to build strong, trusting relationships and work well with others.

  • You're comfortable communicating with third-party vendors to help maintain system stability.

  • Strong organizational skills help you stay on top of tasks and keep things running smoothly.

  • You're flexible and available to jump in when needed, even outside regular business hours or on weekends.

  • You're comfortable with technology and can navigate basic computer systems with ease.

  • You show up consistently and can be counted on to get the job done.
