We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Compensation Analyst to join our Total Rewards team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the various annual compensation cycles within Workday, designing and analyzing incentive plans, and providing strategic recommendations to support our organization's compensation strategy. This position requires expertise in compensation analysis, incentive design, data-driven decision-making and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.



***This position is based in the Indianapolis, IN area and is hybrid. Qualified candidates must currently reside within the Indianapolis, IN area***




Essential Functions



  • Ensures that compensation programs and practices align with total rewards guiding principles

  • Lead and manage the annual compensation cycles, including annual increases and bonuses, utilizing Workday.

  • Serve as the Workday COE lead for compensation modules in Workday and partner with HR Shared Services on optimizations and new functionality.

  • Develop, analyze, and implement incentive plans that align with organizational goals and drive business and employee performance.

  • Collaborate with HR, finance, and leadership teams to provide insights and recommendations on compensation strategies.

  • Conduct market benchmarking, salary surveys, and job evaluations to ensure competitive and equitable compensation practices.

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to compensation practices.

  • Generate and maintain detailed compensation reports and dashboards for data-driven decision-making.

  • Provide guidance and training to HR business partners and managers on compensation processes and best practices.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging compensation practices, and technological advancements in Workday.

  • Drive process improvements and automation opportunities within Workday to enhance efficiency in compensation-related activities.

  • Support mergers, acquisitions, and internal restructuring efforts by evaluating compensation structures and making recommendations for alignment.

  • Partner with HR Business Partners to provide compensation guidance and ensure pay equity across the organization.

  • Develop training materials and facilitate compensation-related training for HR teams and business leaders.



  • Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned, including but not limited to continuously growing in alignment with the Company's core values, competencies, and skills.






Education Qualifications



  • Required Bachelor's Degree human resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field




Experience Qualifications



  • Required 5+ years experience in compensation analysis or a related role, with expertise in Workday compensation modules.

  • Preferred Experience leading an annual compensation a plus

  • Preferred PeopleSoft experience a plus

  • Proven experience in designing and managing incentive plans.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of the organization.

  • High level of attention to detail and a commitment to confidentiality.

  • CCP certification or progress toward certification preferred.

  • Proficiency in Workday Compensation modules required.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of the organization.

  • High level of attention to detail and a commitment to confidentiality.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and the highest degree of integrity.
