We are partnered with a brand name manufacturing company looking to build out their finance team. The Senior Finance Manager will play a key leadership role in overseeing the financial planning, analysis, and reporting functions for our manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities:
Lead the financial planning and analysis process, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with variance analysis and actionable insights
Partner with operations, supply chain, and production teams to optimize costs and improve financial performance
Develop and maintain product cost models, including standard costing and variance analysis
Support capital investment analysis, ROI modeling, and project evaluations
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to drive decision-making
Ensure compliance with internal financial policies, controls, and external regulatory requirements
Manage the month-end and year-end close processes in coordination with the accounting team
Assist with audits and coordinate with external auditors as needed
Identify process improvement opportunities and lead initiatives to enhance financial systems and reporting
Mentor and develop finance team members to support their professional growth
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Minimum of 7 years of progressive finance experience
Proficient in financial modeling and data analysis tools, including Excel and ERP systems
