Volt is immediately hiring for a Purchasing Administrator for an company located in Huntington Beach

As Purchasing Administrator you will:
Conducting purchasing related duties on a daily to support operations team.
Send out RFQ for bids
Prepare data packages for RFQ
Send out Open Order Reports to Suppliers
Highlight any problem areas and reports to Procurement Team Leader
Generate effective communication, good relationships, and a positive image with suppliers and co-workers promoting courtesy, objectivity and fairness
Liaise with planners to control scheduling of parts to ensure stock levels meet demands while staying within stock level buffers
Review Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)/Withhold tags written against suppliers and relays such
information to them with corrective action
Update suppliers with engineering changes and drawings
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Maintain a safe, secure and legal work environment, adhering to all Company policies and procedures.
Maintain and protect the confidentiality of the Company's information and products.
This is a full time opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required
Bachelor's Degree is desired
Schedule Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm
Pay Rate:21.00-25.00
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
