Compensation Range

Annual Salary: $116,500.00 - $139,000.00 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)



About This Job



This position has the overall responsibility for shift functions within the Wholesale Lockbox department. This includes human resource management, ensuring timely and accurate workflow, interfacing with other departments, assisting in the development of overall policy and producing departmental reports.



Essential Functions

• Establish and monitor overall service level standards, increase efficiencies and maintain proper staffing to meet customer agreements while working closely with managers across different shifts, including first and weekend shifts
  
  


• Provide leadership, strategy, direction, and influence on all projects impacting assigned business units which typically result from technology changes or new products/services offered to customers
  
  


• Provide reporting to Senior Management and other internal departments and business partners as needed
  
  


• Ensure team is maintaining internal quality standard measures
  
  


• Review, update and test all Business Resumption and Disaster Recovery plans for assigned functions
  
  


• Coordinate and execute quarterly and annual Bank Operations initiatives, such as Unit Cost review and PAS reviews
  
  


• Lead, mentor and motivate team members to implement the department strategy and manage department workflow with guidance on departmental projects/issues, and provide coaching and development opportunities appropriate to each direct report's individual needs
  
  


• Perform all necessary management functions, including hiring, evaluations, annual increase allocations and disciplinary action as required
  
  


• Communicate decisions, priorities and relevant information to team members effectively
  
  


• Support budget management, planning and expenditure
  
  


• Perform other duties as assigned

• Strong knowledge of the high-volume processing/production field, including knowledge of best practices
  
  


• Ability to understand shift and department KPIs/SLAs and their drivers, to achieve successful results
  
  


• Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to apply discretion and sound judgement to efficiently and effectively solve problems
  
  


• Ability to drive results and balance management of organizational risk and meeting goals of the business
  
  


• Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate team members and foster a positive team environment that gives way to collaboration and unified goals
  
  


• Outstanding interpersonal and relationship building skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the company, clearly expressing ideas and concepts both verbally and in writing

• Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  
  

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  
  


• 8+ years high-volume processing/production environment experience required
  
  


• 4+ years management experience required
  
  


• Experience working with Healthcare explanation of Benefits (EOB) preferred

At Commerce, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each situation. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay is $116,500 - $139,000 annually. This position will be eligible for additional compensation through performance-based incentive plan(s) that will correspond to meeting performance goals.
