About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic Systems Engineer who can hit the ground running and take ownership of our existing on-prem footprint. This role requires a versatile individual with broad exposure to various systems, with a primary focus on Windows Server and Active Directory.


Top Skills:

Broad Systems Exposure: A "jack of all trades" with a strong focus on Windows Server and Active Directory.

Security & IAM: Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM), including access permissions, backup/recovery, and other access management functions.

Hyper-V Integrations: Any exposure to Hyper-V integrations is highly desirable.

Scripting Languages: Proficiency in PowerShell, BASH, or Python is a plus.

Nice to Have:

Data Transformation: Experience with tools and techniques for data transformation, as we are expanding our data analytics capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage Windows and Linux desktop and server environments.


• Architect and implement cloud-based solutions through AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and Microsoft 365.


• Ensure system scalability, reliability, and security.


• Manage and optimize both physical and virtual servers, core cloud services, and workstation infrastructure.


• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.


• Implement automation and configuration management and plan and perform system upgrades.


• Ensure systems are secure and compliant with industry standards and regulations.


• Manage system security configurations, participate in regular security audits, and address findings from security assessments.


• Collaborate across various technical and business teams, providing technical support and expertise.


• Document system configurations, department processes, and prepare reports and metrics on system performance.

Must have:

• Minimum of 6 years in designing and managing technology infrastructure environments, cloud-based solutions, conducting system assessments, and troubleshooting.
