About the Role



Beverly & Addison Gilbert Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Endoscopy and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) team. This role involves procedural admission and recovery, ensuring high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment. Candidates with Endoscopy or PACU experience are encouraged to apply.


Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for Endoscopy and PACU patients
  
  
  


• Administer medications and monitor patient recovery
  
  
  


• Float between Beverly and Addison Gilbert Hospital as needed
  
  
  


• Support procedural admission and patient recovery
  
  
  


• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams
  
  
  


• Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC EMR (preferred)
  
  


• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and infection control standards
  
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• 
  Active Massachusetts RN license required at submission
  
  


• 
  BLS & ACLS certification required
  
  
  


• 
  Procedural admission & recovery experience required
  
  
  


• 
  Previous travel nursing experience preferred
  
  
  


• 
  Must not have worked perm or travel at any Beth Israel facility within the past 6 months
  
  
  

Shift Details

• 
  Day shift: 8:00 AM start
  
  
  


• 
  40 guaranteed hours per week

  13-week contract

  No on-call requirements
  
  
  

Testing Requirements

• 
  Tele test administered on first day (pass/fail)
  
  
  


• 
  Failure could result in assignment termination

  Study material provided at confirmation
  
  
  

Compensation & Contract Details

• 
  Daily OT after 24 hours worked (based on multiplier)
  
  


• 
  Weekly OT after 40 hours worked (based on multiplier)
