Job Type: Full-time, 13-week travel contract




About the Role



We are seeking a CT/X-Ray Technologist to join our short-term acute care facility, working night shifts with a block schedule. This position primarily focuses on CT imaging but also includes radiology exams for ED and inpatients during overnight hours.


Responsibilities

• Operate GE 64-slice and Canon (Toshiba) 32-slice CT scanners
  
  
  


• Perform radiology exams for ED and inpatients between 11:30 PM - 6:30 AM
  
  


• Utilize Epic EMR and Philips iSite PACS for image processing and documentation
  
  


• Use CareStream portable x-ray machines and Canon (Toshiba) DR x-ray rooms for secondary radiology duties
  
  


• Work independently during overnight shifts with back-up call staff available when needed
  
  


• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and patient care standards
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• 
  1+ years of experience required (first-time travelers accepted)
  
  


• Strong expertise in CT and X-ray imaging in an inpatient setting
  
  


• 
  No fluoroscopy or surgery imaging required
  
  
  


• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced hospital environment
  
  
  

Shift Details

• 
  Night shifts: Monday-Wednesday (19:00 - 07:00)
  
  
  


• 
  3x12-hour shifts (36 hours per week)

  Block schedules approved

  On-call required (1-3 days per month)
