Position Overview:


The role involves providing essential health care, administering medications, and addressing any health-related needs that arise while accompanying students and staff on their excursions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Travel with students and staff
  
• Administer medications and provide general nursing care throughout the field trips.
  
• Monitor student health and respond to any medical concerns or emergencies.
  
• Collaborate with classroom staff to ensure student safety and well-being.
  
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and follow IU13 health protocols.
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Active Pennsylvania LPN License (required)
  
• 
  Current CPR Certification
  
  
• Experience in pediatric or educational settings is preferred, but not required.
  
• Reliable transportation and punctuality for early departures are essential.
  
• Availability to commit to all or most of the listed field trip dates.
  

Clearance & Health Requirements (Must be current):

• 
  Arrest/Conviction Report and Certification Form (Act 24)
  
• 
  PA State Police Criminal Record Check (Act 34)
  
• 
  FBI Fingerprints (Act 114)
  
• 
  PA Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 151)
  
• 
  Mandated Reporter Training (completed within the past 5 years)
  
• 
  Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release (Act 168)
  
• 
  TB Test Results (dated within the past 90 days)
