As a Technical Support Representative reporting to the Technical Support Supervisor, you will be responsible for answering phone calls, answering questions regarding applications and product information. Conduct research for new products and model information.
Answer Hotline phone calls, respond to emails, and chat requests to assist customers with equipment issues and questions
Be the communicator between end users and internal sources to solve equipment issues
Maintain knowledge of all private brand customers
Entering orders, checking status of orders, updating customers of back-order items
Processing warranty registrations
Dispatching service providers
Assisting in training service providers, distributors, reps, and outside sales
Reporting issues back to the correct departments to better the equipment
Answer product application questions about installation, change intervals, where to purchase, etc. from multiple private brand customers
Troubleshooting and Diagnostics of service equipment
Reading electrical/hydraulic flow diagrams
Your Experience & Qualifications
High School diploma
Two years customer service or call center experience; preferably in the auto industry
General Automotive knowledge
Strong written and oral communications skills
Good PC skills: Microsoft Office software (i.e., Word, Excel and Access)
Ability to work occasional weekends
