Job Description:

Baer is looking for Problem Analyst for a 6+ month project located in Rosemont, IL


Title: Problem Analyst
Location: Hybrid - Rosemont, IL (In office 10 days/month (alternating 2 days in office one week, 3 days in office following)
Duration: 6 months
Rate: All-Inclusive
Alignment: W2 or C2C

Description:

• Lead root cause analysis (RCA) meetings for recurring or major incidents


• Identify improvement opportunities and track corrective actions to completion


• Maintain documentation for problem management processes and tools


• Develop and deliver metrics/reports to track the effectiveness of corrective actions


• Collaborate with support teams to ensure accurate RCA and timely follow-through


• Provide governance and oversight across technical teams for problem processes


• Monitor adherence to SLAs and escalate issues as needed


• Support training, knowledge transfer, and process education


• Participate in additional projects or duties as assigned

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in a Problem Analyst or related IT process role


• ITIL Certification (v4 preferred)


• Strong communication and collaboration skills


• Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)


• Passion for working across teams and technologies


• Strong attention to detail, quality, and process improvement


• ITIL Intermediate Certification


• PMP Certification


• Familiarity with network, server, and infrastructure technologies


• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field OR High school diploma with 6+ years of enterprise IT experience
