Process Technician at ORBIS Corporation in Bardstown, Kentucky

Job Description:

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Deploy process technology to minimize process variation and optimize the manufacturing of our products.

2. Improve machine efficiency through automation uptime and optimization.

3. Perform mold start-ups using plastic fundamentals (applicable locations only).

4. Maintain process guidelines though cycle times, E-Darts, clamp movement, etc.

5. Install, troubleshoot, and remove EOAT.

6. Troubleshoot material mixers

7. Assist in color/material changes

8. Pull and understand FPI/SA paperwork and process variances.

9. Work in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective, safety equipment and devices that are required, in accordance with all STW documentation (if STW is not developed for any process within this job, proper training techniques must be followed).

10. Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement; promote and sustain any and all CI, 5S and STW activities.

11. Other duties as assigned
