Job Description:

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Identify and correct automation issues.
2. Teach and edit automation, install, and remove EOAT's.
3. Improve machine efficiency through automation uptime and optimization.
4. Lead mold startups using plastic fundamentals and understand all steps of mold/version changes.
5. Maintain process guidelines through cycle times, E-Darts, clamp movement, etc.
6. Maintain all documentation for baselines specifications.
7. Troubleshoot material mixers
8. Assist in color/material changes
9. Audit and enforce FPI/SA paperwork and Process Variances.
10. Troubleshoot processing defects.
11. Mentor other Processors and trainees in all aspects of Processing.
12. Work in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective, safety equipment and devices that are required, in accordance with all STW documentation (if STW is not developed for any process within this job, proper training techniques must be followed).
13. Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement; promote and sustain any and all CI, 5S and STW activities.
14. Other duties as assigned.

Education/Certification
Level Required
High school diploma or equivalent Vocational or Technical Degree
Work Experience

Required
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• 1-3 years of plastic molding experience
• 2-5 years of plastic molding experience;
preferably as Process Technician
• Hydraulic/pneumatic troubleshootings and Outcome
