Job Purpose/Summary:




We are looking for a Senior Manager of Policies & Procedures to lead and oversee the company's governing document program, ensuring effective governance across the entire organization. This role will work closely with senior leadership globally to develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive set of governing documents that align with legal regulations, internal standards, and best practices. This role will collaborate with multiple departments to promote consistency, streamline operations, and drive efficiency across the business. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with a collaborative approach, able to effectively engage with teams at all levels and across different locations and cultures.




Essential Duties and Responsibilities:




  • Develop and implement standardized guidelines for all company governing documents.


  • Collaborate with department leaders and cross-functional teams to identify policy needs and ensure alignment with company objectives.


  • Lead the creation, revision, and updating of governing documents across all business units.


  • Analyze current practices, industry standards, and legal requirements to guide the development of governing documents.


  • Ensure governing documents are effectively communicated, accessible, and properly implemented for all employees and relevant third parties.


  • Make updates to governing documents as necessary based on feedback, evolving needs, and changes in circumstances, and facilitate cross-departmental collaboration for resolution.


  • Monitor compliance with governing document standards and ensure adherence across the organization.


  • Lead and report to the Governing Document Committee on key initiatives, audits, and progress.


  • Identify and implement a governing document management system, ensuring adequate budget allocation and access, while promptly addressing any system issues that arise.



Requirements:




  • Education/Certifications: Bachelor's degree in law, Business Administration, Management, English or other related fields.




  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to policies to different levels of stakeholders both verbally and in writing. Strong influence and collaboration, skills to engage all levels of the organization to action.


  • Experience: Minimum of +5 years of experience in compliance, policy development, management, technical writing and/or related fields.
