As a Clinician with our team, you'll be at the forefront of helping families stabilize, build stronger relationships, and develop essential skills for lasting positive change. Through direct engagement in the community-whether at home, school, or other community settings-you will work closely with youth, caregivers, and other team members to create a comprehensive and collaborative treatment plan that addresses their unique needs. You'll also play a key role in crisis management, risk planning, and ensuring timely documentation for service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
Family Therapy & Crisis Support: Provide family therapy, crisis intervention, safety planning, and parent skill-building to families referred by the Department of Children and Families (DCF).
Community-Based Care: Deliver services in community settings, including homes, schools, and health clinics, in collaboration with case managers and direct care staff.
Collaborative Treatment: Work with families and natural supports to create comprehensive treatment plans, ensuring that all members are involved in the process.
Risk Management: Develop and implement safety plans to address and manage risks, ensuring the well-being of the youth and others involved.
Documentation & Compliance: Complete assessments and maintain required documentation in compliance with program rules and regulations.
Coordination & Communication: Maintain open communication with DCF, Family Networks, and other partners to ensure a coordinated and holistic approach to care.
Multidisciplinary Participation: Participate in regular multidisciplinary meetings to discuss progress and ensure alignment with treatment goals.
Performance Goals: Meet direct service volume and performance objectives set by the program, ensuring high standards of care delivery.
Skills & Abilities:
Clinical Expertise: A solid foundation in family therapy, crisis management, and behavioral health interventions.
Time Management: Ability to prioritize and manage a varied caseload and handle urgent needs as they arise.
Cultural Competence: Demonstrates the ability to work with families from diverse cultural, racial, and ethnic backgrounds, incorporating cultural understanding into treatment.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to effectively convey information and collaborate with families and team members.
Technology Utilization: Proficient in using agency software, email systems, and other relevant technologies to support service delivery and communication.
Professional Development: Committed to ongoing learning and improving clinical skills through training and supervision.
What We're Looking For:
Master's Degree in a license-eligible behavioral health field (e.g., Social Work, Mental Health Counseling).
Experience working with children, adolescents, and families strongly preferred.
Must become CANS-MA certified within 30 days of hire.
Broad knowledge of mental illness diagnoses and diverse treatment techniques, including family therapy.
Familiarity with community resources and navigating child/family-serving systems is a plus.
Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for work-related travel.
