OVERVIEW Leasing Representatives market and book vacation rental homes in a specified RV Resort or manufactured housing community. They advertise homes, prepare contracts, and maintain integrity of homes, insuring all homes, furnishings, soft goods, etc., are kept up to Resort standards.
JOB DUTIES
Evaluates owned and brokered rental homes and sites to ensure minimum rental standards are met
Coordinates rental home presentation (i.e., furniture, cleaning, repairs, etc.) Coordinates cleaning of rentals after usage and off-season preparation
Works with private owners to determine if their homes meet the resorts qualifications and can be entered into the Brokered Rental Program
Maintains home repair records and schedules maintenance
Collects and posts resident deposits and rent, as well as other miscellaneous fees
Advertises and markets vacation homes for rent in the resort/community (i.e. ads, flyers, mailers, banners, visits local employers, etc.)
Greets and establishes rapport with guests, current and prospective residents
Encourages home owners to join the Brokered Rental Program and completes brokered home listing agreements
Maximizes sales by reserving future rentals for former customers. Works with existing customers to obtain potential new customers through the companys referral program
Collaborates with the Call Center and web-based rental marketing programs to coordinate and implement marketing programs to increase rental occupancy
Processes lease agreements; maintains accurate files and records
Coordinates and follows-up on service requests
Processes brokered rental funds disbursement to owners as needed
Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or GED (Required)
Valid driver's license
2 years experience in rental or apartment housing and hospitality
Excellent sales, communication, and negotiation skills
Excellent organization and time management skills
Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to use the Microsoft Office Suite, email, and internet
Ability to work flexible work hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
