Hays are looking for an experienced Commercial Superintendent to lead and manage commercial construction projects in Charlotte. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of overseeing all aspects of construction site operations to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.



Your new role

• Oversee daily site operations, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
  
  


• Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, and project teams to achieve project goals.
  
  


• Develop and maintain project schedules, identifying and resolving any potential delays.
  
  


• Monitor construction progress and enforce compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.
  
  


• Conduct regular site inspections and address any issues or discrepancies.
  
  


• Ensure proper installation and integration of building systems.
  
  


• Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including owners, architects, and engineers.
  
  


• Maintain accurate project documentation, including reports, schedules, and logs.
  
  


• Promote a positive work environment and uphold company standards and values.
  
  

What you'll need to succeed

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
  
  


• Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  
  


• In-depth knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and safety regulations.
  
  


• Familiarity with construction project management software and tools.
  
  


• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  
  


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  
  


• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  
  


• Valid driver's license.
