We are seeking a Financial Center Manager to join our Consumer, East Penn &NJ - North (Support) team.
Responsibilities
The Financial Center Manager is a vital part of Univest’s success. You’ll drive and supervise daily operations of the branch to keep customer service running smoothly while promoting security and profitability. You’ll be responsible for making sure branch and individual goals are met; day-to-day customer service; compliance with established policies and procedures relative to bank operations; security; human resource management; etc.
You’ll step in to provide coaching and assistance whenever it’s needed. In addition, you’ll also partner with other lines of business and have business development responsibilities.
You’ll be a coach, leader, mentor and role model. You’ll lead your team to build and maintain strong relationships with customers by making sure they have a great experience every time they visit the financial center and by providing friendly, helpful solutions to their financial challenges.

Develop a strong knowledge of Univest’s consumer and commercial products and services
Motivate and coach staff to work as a team in order to achieve assigned goals
Develop and implement effective sales and acquisition strategies
Coach, evaluate and develop staff with career path and succession planning focus
Generate and maintain expected sales and performance goals
Monitor and maintain branch profitability
Identify and develop prospective leads for new business
Cultivate existing business relationships
Partner with other lines of business to formulate selling strategies for prospective and existing customers
Represent the bank in various civic and community functions
Expected to join and actively participate in at least one civic or non-profit organization
Expected to periodically participate in bank-sponsored events and community activities
Responsible for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to the position, including the Univest Code of Conduct
Perform additional duties as required
Qualifications
High school diploma/GED or equivalency
NMLS registration within regulated guidelines
Strong written/verbal/organizational skills
Demonstrated independent decision-making skills, effective delegation and leadership skills
Demonstrated high performance in sales, customer service, business development, and leadership
Advanced knowledge of consumer and business lending and credit processes preferred
Ability to work in an accurate and organized manner to effectively manage related-job pressures and deadlines
Previous experience with MS Office Suite
Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
Community/non-profit involvement
Wage Range:
The salary for this position starts at $72,500.00.
