Job Description:

Location: Jacksonville, IL

Salary: $100,000.00 USD Annually - $115,000.00 USD Annually

Description: The Judge Group has partnered with a food manufacturer in the Jacksonville area to find a Maintenance Manager for their team. The right candidate has a strong foundation of mechanical knowledge coupled with a strong leadership skillset to develop their team.


This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Plan, assign, coordinate, set priorities and evaluate work of the maintenance staff; providing direction regarding repairs, preventative maintenance, and trouble shooting of equipment


• Promote employee development within the maintenance department


• Responsible for maintaining plant equipment, including preventative maintenance and new equipment installation


• Enforce all company and government policies and procedures to protect all employees and company property including tools, equipment, raw materials and finished products


• Strong knowledge in Boilers, Ammonia systems, refrigeration, welding, PLC, etc.


• Work with external vendors on equipment repairs and installations

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree preferred


• 5+ years of maintenance supervisory or management experience


• Food, plastics, packaging, or medical manufacturing experience required
