Job Title: Commercial Credit Analyst


Essential Responsibilities:

• Analyze and underwrite Commercial customers and credit products, including Commercial Real Estate (CRE), Commercial and Industrial (C&I) businesses, agricultural entities, bank holding companies, subsidiary banks, and individuals.


• Demonstrate financial and risk analysis skills:
  
  
  • Review loan applications and analyze credit information for new originations to assess customer creditworthiness.
  
  
  • Conduct in-depth reviews of balance sheets and profit and loss statements for large Commercial loans or lines of credit.
  
  
  • Analyze appraisals for real estate, equipment, and business value to ensure adequate collateralization.
  
  
  • Assess cash flow, liquidity, management quality, market position, and overall business climate to estimate future profitability.
  
  
  • Assign risk ratings to individual credits.
  
  
  • Monitor financial documentation ticklers for accuracy and ensure information is up-to-date.
  
  
  • Perform annual reviews for existing borrowing customers.
  
  
  
  


• Develop strong relationships with client correspondent banks to facilitate effective information sharing and partnerships.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field.


• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Commercial Credit Analyst.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


• Technical aptitude.


• Problem-solving and presentation skills.
