We are currently seeking a Travel RN - Float for our client in New York!




Job Title: Registered Nurse - Float / Resource Pool

Facility: Samaritan Medical Center

Location: 830 Washington Street, Watertown, New York, 13601

Shift Type: Night (7 PM - 7 AM)

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Contract Type: Travel

Pricing Negotiations Permitted: Yes

Duration: 13 weeks (04/21/2025 - 07/20/2025)



Key Responsibilities:

• Provide quality patient care and assess patient needs (clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual).
  
  


• Ensure safety for self and others, including safe patient handling using lifts.
  
  


• Function effectively in stressful situations with strong problem-solving skills.
  
  


• Demonstrate leadership abilities, prioritize tasks, and delegate responsibilities.
  
  


• Assume charge nurse duties as needed.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Current NY nursing license required.
  
  


• Coronary Care experience required.
  
  


• Minimum of one successful traveler assignment completed (first-time travelers will not be considered).
  
  


• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
  
  


• Previous hospital RN experience preferred.
  
  


• Certifications: BLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred.
  
  


• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills (written and verbal).
