Position Overview:
As a Physical Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional care to individuals seeking recovery from injuries, surgeries, or conditions affecting their mobility and physical well-being.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions to develop personalized treatment plans.
Administer and supervise therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and functional training to improve patients' mobility and strength.
Utilize a variety of modalities and equipment effectively to support patients' rehabilitation goals.
Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
Educate patients and their families on exercise routines, proper body mechanics, and strategies for preventing future injuries.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and comply with regulatory standards and ethical guidelines. The expectation is to have records completed within 48 hours of patient visit.
Go to multiple clinics as needed.
Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Current state licensure as a physical therapist.
Proven experience in conducting evaluations and implementing evidence-based treatment plans.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Dedication to ongoing professional development and staying updated on advancements in physical therapy practices.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with healthcare professionals and patients.
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain patient confidentiality.
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and compliance requirements.
Attention to details, flexibility and focus are essential.
Ability to multi-task in an environment where interaction with others is constant and interruptions are frequent.
Must have a neat and friendly professional appearance and high level of personal and dental hygiene.
