Description: Our client is currently seeking a L&D Nurse

Weekly Pay Breakdown

• 
  Hourly Pay: $40.00 ($1,440.00 weekly)
  
  


• 
  Housing Stipend: $770.00
  
  


• 
  Meals and Incidentals: $476.00
  
  


• 
  Total Gross Pay: $2,686.00
  
  

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interviews, and review of medical records and clinical data.
  
  


• Develop and implement patient care plans, observing outcomes in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
  
  


• Perform therapeutic and diagnostic interventions, including IVs, wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collection.
  
  


• Advocate for patient health, safety, and rights while providing education tailored to patient and family needs.
  
  


• Deliver relationship-based care, respecting cultural differences and individual preferences.
  
  


• Delegate tasks to non-RN personnel in accordance with state regulations and hospital policies.
  
  


• Serve as a professional role model, demonstrating ethical and legal nursing practices.
  
  


• Manage resources effectively to ensure high-quality, cost-efficient patient care.
  
  


• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, evidence-based practices, and research activities.
  
  


• Mentor new staff and nursing students, while seeking opportunities for professional growth.
  
  


• Maintain professional records and evaluate personal nursing practices to align with standards and regulations.
  
  

Skills and Experience

• 
  Minimum Experience: One year preferred; nursing skills specific to the specialty required.
  
  

Float Requirements

• May be required to float to any CommonSpirit location within 60 miles of the original assignment or within the designated float zone.
  
  


• Float assignments may include duties outside the original job requirements, as per CommonSpirit policy.
  
  

Education and Certifications

• 
  Education: Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  
  


• 
  Licenses: State RN license or RN license from a participating state in the NLC required.
  
  


•

  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) - Required
    
    
  
  
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification - Required
