Assistant Director for Recruiting, Admissions and Student Services (MBA Office)
This position has primary responsibility for recruitment and admissions for all Robin School of Business graduate programs (MBA and MS Management) as well as academic student services for both programs. The Asst. Director will develop and manage budgets, processes and policies related to recruitment, admissions, financial aid, student services and student advising for all graduate business programs. The Asst. Director will work with the Associate Dean to develop goals and strategies related to student recruitment, scholarships, and student services.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Recruitment/Admissions (75%)
Establish and administer programs for targeting, recruitment, and retention of students in all graduate business programs (Currently MBA and MS in Management)
Provide counseling, planning, and advising to potential students through events and seminars; assist students in the completion of applications; coordinate applications for financial assistance.
Implement and assist in development of admissions policy and procedures in cooperation with Associate Dean and Graduate Council
Enter and maintain application, deposit, and registration information in Banner and Slate
Coordinate with internal marketing staff and external agencies and professionals to develop and implement various recruitment programs and marketing initiatives relating to targeted audience in the fulfillment of recruitment goals
Participate in the development of student recruitment and retention plans, strategies, and written materials
Develop, manage and attend recruiting events at businesses and universities; inform prospective students and others about program
Oversee day-to-day operations of scholarship process, including scholarship budgeting and projections for semester-by-semester scholarship commitments
Deliver statistical reporting to internal and external audiences
Registration/Advising(15%)
Manage registration and advising processes for current and new students.
Advise students, departmental staff, and faculty of university program requirements and policies; respond to inquiries; receive and review transcripts to ensure applicability to degree requirements; research and resolve problems
Provide academic advising services to students, faculty, and staff, including complex analysis and integration of degree requirements, student academic records, and course schedules
Resolve problems relating to curriculum, program requirements, and university requirements by referring to catalogues and other appropriate resource materials or governance manuals; coordinate with representatives of academic units to process changes in programs of study, applications for candidacy, graduation requests, and to aid in resolution of academic problems and disputes
Academic Administration (10%)
Develop and implement systems and processes to establish and maintain records for the graduate school.
Collect, compile and analyze program activity data; develop, write and present comprehensive statistical and narrative program reports, including audits, review and evaluations of programs and student information
Coordinate with Registrar on academic calendar, registration, catalog questions and updates, and graduation audits, and to enact catalog, policy, or process changes passed by Graduate Council and RSB faculty
Develop and manage surveys of current and prospective students for program and process improvements
Advise and collaborate with faculty and students to develop and deliver academic program course schedules; advise students, staff and faculty on university, school and program policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Proficiency in various software programs including: Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word). Strong data analysis skills required.
Candidate will be able to implement a successful recruitment process including research, outreach and promotion, application support, and evaluation.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's Degree from four-year college or university and 3-5 years' experience in administrative/operational role in higher education, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in recruiting, admissions, and social media marketing preferred.
