Basic Job Functions:


QMS Representative is a position responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of all quality and customer related certifications including, but not limited to, ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 17025, ABS, and AASHTO. This position will work with the QMS Coordinator to drive quality improvement throughout the facility as well as coordinate and conduct audits and applicable trainings. The successful candidate must be able to lead process groups and work with all levels of the organization.

The qualified candidate is responsible for maintaining a safe working environment. The work schedule will be days but the candidate must be willing to work a flexible schedule that can include a rotating shift schedule as well as weekends. Safety, quality, and integrity are integral to the QMS Representative position.Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.




Minimum Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent experience.

Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications:

Two-year technical degree or higher

Auditing Experience

Previous experience in a steel or manufacturing related industry.

Understanding of core tools (MSA studies, FMEA, etc.)

Demonstrated ability to go the extra mile; whether it is hours worked or responsibilities accepted, with the proper attitude and dependability.
