Job Description Shift: .9 Night Shift Sunday- Saturday, to include weekends and holidays
We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse II to join our healthcare team in Glen Burnie. In this role, you will provide direct patient care while demonstrating clinical expertise and leadership in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Deliver comprehensive patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols
Document patient care activities and observations in electronic health records
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Implement and monitor patient care plans
Mentor and guide less experienced nursing staff
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and unit-based projects
Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and safety protocols
Respond to emergency situations and provide critical care when needed
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical nursing experience
Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessment and patient care
Strong knowledge of medical procedures and healthcare protocols
Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Proven ability to work effectively in fast-paced healthcare environments
Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
Ability to mentor and guide other nursing staff
Physical capability to perform essential nursing functions
