Part-Time
Paramus,NJ
Available Shifts: Saturday and Sunday: 6:00AM - 3:30PM, 11:00AM-7:30PM & 3:30PM-12:30AM
Monday - Friday: 5:30AM - 9:00AM
Compensation: Up to $25.00 based on experience



Coach USA, a leader in the transportation industry, is seeking qualified candidates to take on the role of Dispatcher at Newark Liberty International Airport and the Port Authority. This position is the heartbeat of our daily operation and requires exceptional communication, problem solving, and customer service skills.



Description:

• Update and monitor GPS route/equipment status


• Dispatch buses and drivers


• Monitor and uphold on-time performance


• Check driver's credentials upon their report to work


• Report all accidents/incidents to Safety Manager


• Assist customer service through phone or email


• In the event of a breakdown, contact road service, dispatch relief bus, notify maintenance staff, provide customer service and management of the situation


• Communicate delays or updates with field operations and customer service agents


• Coach and counsel drivers if necessary


• Transfer and receive information from shift to shift


• Other duties as needed

Background:

• At least 1 year of motor coach or transportation dispatch experience or equivalent

Skills/requirements:

• Ability to multitask and troubleshoot in a fast-paced environment


• Exemplary communication and customer service skills


• Routing/GPS programs
