Adjuncts are hired on a course basis each term. Salary Range for Adjuncts teaching in this academic area is $500.00 - $3,000.00 per course.



Governors State University's School of Extended Learning is seeking dynamic and engaging adjuncts to instruct professional development workshops, continuing education course(s), and/ or customized training sessions. Our goal is to make sure that our participants walk away with valuable information that they can apply in the workplace.The following is a partial list of subject areas that we are seeking adjuncts:Customer ServiceNew Media MarketingHuman Resource ManagementBusiness CommunicationsNonprofit ManagementAccountingOrganizational ManagementHealthcare AdministrationBusiness LawOSHALeadershipGovernment AdministrationDigital Marketing/ManagementSchool Administration LeadershipGrant WritingAdjuncts are not a part of the faculty bargaining unit and are not included in membership of the Faculty Senate.Required and Preferred Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years experience instructing in the subject area* Instructors must have experience designing, developing, and implementing training materials* Ability to deliver training material using a variety of learning techniques* Have a strong command of presentation software(s) and technology



Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree preferred
