Job Summary:

Under direction, this position is an administrative support position in the human resources department. This position actively supports our employees in support of plant operations teams, providing detailed employee scheduling, attendance and planning support.

• Accurately schedule production, warehouse and maintenance employees in support of production planning activities and defined CBA schedule language, if applicable, on a daily and weekly basis;


• Document employee attendance activity into Kronos for accurate reporting and tracking;


• Partner with department managers for effective labor utilization and planning;


• Track and maintain time off programs and accrual balances for production employees;


• Update attendance tracking spreadsheets and calendars. Document and notify the HR Manager when attendance policy violations occur.


• Draft attendance discipline letters in support of attendance policy guidelines.


• Prepare, post and apply vacation selections in accordance with vacation selection requirements as defined by the location or CBA, if applicable;


• Prepare and post position bid posting per the established job bid procedures. Update bid job and job qualification spreadsheets as required;


• Coordinate and reconcile weekly employee uniforms (locker assignments, new orders, changes, invoice review/approval);


• Support on-boarding activities, prepare on-boarding materials.


• Coordinate and reconcile security key fob program;


• Support internal and external audits;


• Support employee relations activities;


• Assist in evaluation of reports and results of department in relation to established

goals. Recommend new approaches, procedures in our efforts to streamline processes and reduce


areas of inefficiency or redundancy;

• Maintain employee training files, training metrics and position qualifications tracking spreadsheets for all employee's;


• Maintenance of employee personnel, medical and LOA files in accordance with company and record retention guidelines;


• Act as the time, labor and payroll back up for HR Coordinator;


• Must maintain the highest degree of confidentiality;


• Adhere to the Saputo Code of Ethics and actively apply the Saputo Values;


• Work together professionally in a team environment with coworkers and other department personnel;


• Support other departments as needed and perform other duties as required by management.

Job Requirements:

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent. Associate degree preferred.


• A minimum of 2 years previous experience in an HR support role.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.


• Proficiency with HRIS and HR Time Keeping Systems preferred.


• Must be self-motivated and able to work well independently.


• Ability to understand and add value to Saputo Dairy Foods' business.


• Ability to deliver and execute high-quality and consistent Human Resources processes and services.


• Excellent verbal/written communication skills.


• Ability to work collaboratively with all departments, management levels within the company, and external stakeholders.

Salary Range $57,000-$77,000
