Schedule:

• 12-hour shifts: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM
  
  


• On-Call: One shift per month
  
  


• Days Per Week: 3
  
  


• Duration: 11-week contract
  
  

Job Duties:

• Assess patients' physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs.
  
  


• Develop and implement patient care plans and monitor outcomes.
  
  


• Perform various therapeutic and diagnostic interventions (IVs, wound care, medication administration, etc.).
  
  


• Advocate for patient health and safety while respecting their preferences and values.
  
  


• Provide education to patients and families based on their learning readiness and needs.
  
  


• Deliver culturally competent and compassionate care.
  
  


• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team for quality patient care.
  
  


• Delegate tasks to non-RN personnel as per policies.
  
  


• Serve as a professional role model and mentor for new staff and nursing students.
  
  


• Participate in quality improvement, evidence-based practice, and research activities.
  
  

Skills and Requirements:

• 
  Experience: Minimum one year of experience preferred.
  
  


• 
  Education: Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
  
  


• 
  Licenses and Certifications:
  
  
  
  
  
  • Active State RN license or RN license from a participating NLC state (required).
    
    
  
  
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).
    
    
  
  
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (required).
    
    
  
  
  • Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) or AWHONN certification (required).
    
    
  
  
  
  

Additional Information:

• 
  Floating Requirements: May float to other CommonSpirit locations within 60 miles of the original assignment. Floating may include tasks outside original job requirements per policy.
