Role Summary

The US Intermediaries (USI) Portfolio Construction Solutions (PCS) team at T. Rowe Price is seeking an experienced Analyst to support the PCS Advisor digital experience and the PCS team technology workflow.  This role will assist in the support, discovery, development, and implementation of the PCS Advisor experience and the internal PCS team roadmap.

The Analyst will analyze data and digital operations to identify areas of opportunity, determine technical requirements, and consult with internal and external partners to enable the organization with solutions that drive business results. The analyst will take an end-to-end client view, ensuring experiences align with overall business strategy, and deliver a consistent client experience across all touchpoints through testing, and optimization. Demonstrate a high degree of judgment; negotiate regularly with creative, technology and stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations. Leverage client insights to recommend enhanced processes, reports, tools, etc., for improving effectiveness. This role will join a team of product owners, analysts, developers, and designers utilizing an Agile methodology, to launch features from research and discovery to development and delivery. The Product Analyst is a data/tech SME with a deep understanding of business goals who supports our delivery process, including planning, delivery, execution, and troubleshooting, as well as collaborates cross-functionally in our agile team during our discovery and design phases to enhance our deliverables to bring solutions to life.

Responsibilities


  • Writes and maintains requirements in the form of user stories for Portfolio Construction technology workflow experiences, Portfolio Construction Solutions Advisor Dashboard experiences

  • Provides support to deliver solutions including working with cross-functional support teams: marketing, technology, and design associates.

  • Plans with team members to ensure a strategic, complementary release schedule and works with product owner to identify necessary operational changes stemming from a release.

  • Researches a variety of activities, dependencies, gaps, or other critical items that are relevant to assigned projects. Completes data collection and documentation as it relates to projects and identifies issue resolution. Coordinates business resources across the firm needed to complete standard projects.

  • Analyzes data to recommend solutions to PCS product and technology staff that will improve client experience, execute strategic initiatives, and achieve operational efficiency. Uses relationships across the business to facilitate business change and improvements.

  • Supports specific initiatives that help meet key performance indicators, operational efficiencies, or nondiscretionary compliance projects.

Qualifications

Required:


  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND

  • 2+ years of total relevant work experience.

Preferred:


  • Strategic thinker & problem-solver with proven ability to understand details & actively execute to ensure success.

  • Experience with JIRA or RALLY to manage projects, products and technology development

  • Ability to translate and simplify complex business and technical requirements.

  • Experience with SQL database queries

  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), inclusive of publishing.

  • Experience working in a highly regulated industry. 

  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence decisions.

FINRA Requirements

FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.

Work Flexibility

This role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to two days per week from home.

Base Salary Ranges

$68,000.00 - $116,000.00 for the location of: Maryland, Colorado, Washington and remote workers
$74,500.00 - $127,000.00 for the location of: Washington, D.C.
$85,000.00 - $145,000.00 for the location of: New York, California

Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience and skills for the role.  Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package.  Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.
