Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required
RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure operations sites are being maintained in a safe manner
- Repairs, maintains, and installs oil well drilling machinery and equipment
- Uses hand tools and following oral and written work orders
- Attaches hoisting cables to pumps, transmissions, diesel engines, and other equipment at drill sites
- Lashes equipment to trucks for transfer to repair yard
QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years of formal or industry experience
- Must be able to perform duties with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced facility personnel
- Must be able to communicate, and work with other personnel, departments, and outside officials.
- Self-starter with strong planning, technical and analytical skills
Preferred:
- Oil and Gas experience
