Controller at Ledgent Finance & Accounting in Stockton, California

Job Description:

We're partnering with a well-established company in Stockton seeking a Controller to lead their accounting operations. This is a direct hire opportunity for a driven, hands-on accounting professional ready to make an impact.



What You'll Do:

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including GL, AP/AR, and payroll


• Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and forecasts


• Lead month-end and year-end close processes


• Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements


• Collaborate with leadership to support strategic financial planning

What You Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required)


• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience


• Strong leadership and communication skills


• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, complex formulas, etc.)


• Experience with ERP systems preferred

Position Type: Direct Hire



Location: Stockton, CA



Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday



Compensation: $90,000-$120,000 annually, DOE + benefits
