Accounting Clerk at Ledgent Finance & Accounting in Stockton, California

Job Description:

We're hiring an Accounting Clerk for a contract role in Stockton! This position offers a stable opportunity to contribute to a busy accounting department. While there aren't formal growth opportunities within this role, it could lead to a contract-to-hire situation based on performance and business need.



What You'll Be Doing:

• Process accounts payable and receivable
  


• Handle invoice entry, payment processing, and account reconciliations


• Assist with month-end close and basic financial reporting


• Maintain accurate records and support day-to-day accounting tasks

What We're Looking For:

• 1+ year of accounting support experience


• Strong data entry skills and attention to detail


• Comfortable with Excel and accounting systems (QuickBooks a plus)


• Dependable, organized, and a team player

Details:

  Pay: $22/hr

  Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday
