Fire Protection Publications is a mission-driven, values-based organization dedicated to the production of high-quality educational content for the international community of firefighters and first responders. Process purchase requisitions and purchase card transactions, orders supplies, tracks inventory tagged equipment. Monthly reconcile data entry of FPP system to OSU system, inventory receipt to stock, campus vendors, purchasing cards. Cross trains with co-workers. Prepares and edits reports, correspondence, and other documents for management. Greeting guests, answering phones and general office duties as needed.

It is an office-based position; remote and hybrid work are not currently an option for this role. Education & Experience Position Qualifications: Required Qualifications:

High School/GED and 3 years' experience in accounting/Bookkeeping. Post-secondary education may substitute for years of required experience. Two years experience with Microsoft Excel and accounting software. The ability to learn OSU systems, policies, and procedures governing vendor activity. Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time. Excellent oral and written communications skill. Ability to work independently and in teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business or accounting. Five years' experience with Microsoft Office and various accounting software packages. Two years' experience with OSU accounting functions.
