Beacon Hill's client is looking for a Senior International Rewards Consultant to join their team. The Senior International Rewards Consultant plays a pivotal role in designing, managing, and advising on compensation and benefits strategies globally. This role provides deep subject matter expertise and strategic consulting to HR Business Partners, Talent Partners, and business leaders. With a focus on global competitiveness, regulatory alignment, and internal equity, the consultant will influence critical business decisions and reward strategies across a dynamic international footprint.
This is an exciting 5-month contract role that is hybrid in Golden Valley, MN.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Consulting and Business Partnership
Act as a strategic advisor to HR and business leaders, aligning rewards strategies with business and talent priorities.
Provide guidance on compensation and benefits philosophies, program frameworks, and operational processes.
Offer market insights and global best practices to ensure competitiveness and alignment with organizational goals.
Support business objectives through continuous collaboration with internal partners and external rewards professionals.
Compensation Program Management
Lead compensation processes for aligned business groups, including job evaluations, survey matching, and market pricing.
Drive the execution of core programs such as Annual Performance and Rewards and Competitive Reviews.
Partner with global centers of excellence to implement function-specific compensation program changes.
Guide Talent Solutions Consultants on complex internal offers and job structure questions.
Conduct regulatory analyses, including FLSA classification reviews and international compliance evaluations.
Benefits Oversight (Outside U.S. and Canada)
Own the centralized inventory of global benefit offerings by country.
Conduct benefit program design reviews and cost analysis in collaboration with local HR teams.
Support annual benefits survey processes and global cost validation initiatives.
Project and Program Management
Lead assigned compensation and benefits projects, from planning through execution.
Build and manage project workplans, delegate responsibilities, monitor risks, and ensure timely delivery.
Collaborate across HR functions to drive integrated rewards solutions.
Analytics and Reporting
Translate data into insights by partnering with COEs and analytics teams to develop meaningful dashboards and metrics.
Support leadership with reporting that informs program effectiveness and strategic planning.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
5-7 years of experience in compensation and benefits, with a strong emphasis on compensation
Deep understanding of international compensation structures and benefit practices
Hands-on experience with job evaluations, salary structures, and short- and long-term incentive design
High proficiency in Excel and data analysis
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and communicate effectively across all organizational levels
Experience working with cross-functional HR teams in a global context
Strong project management and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (MBA, MA-HRIR)
Professional certifications (CCP, GPHR, SPHR, or PHR)
Experience using Workday or similar HRIS systems
Proven success in benchmarking and designing programs across international markets
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a consultative approach
