The Pricing Lead is responsible for developing cost/pricing model(s) for Government service contracts, overseeing and administering federal cost and pricing activities across the organization. This role will work closely with the Company's Finance, Business Development, Operations and Contracting teams to ensure all aspects of contract pricing (new, renewals, subcontract, etc.) meet business and regulatory requirements. Key activities include pricing strategies, cost modeling, preparing reports and effectively communicating with leadership, customers and subcontractors regarding financial status, metrics and deliverables. This role is critical in helping the organization improve financially and achieve its financial goals while driving growth.

C O S T & P R I C I N G
Duties include:
Cost Pricing : Responsible for developing cost/pricing model for service contracts, including fixed-price, labor-hour, cost-plus, and other pricing strategies as appropriate.
Pricing Strategy: Drive the organization's pricing strategy across all pricing activity. Prepare and present detailed cost/price briefings for leadership including discussion of bid pricing requirements and evaluation criteria, competitive analysis, pricing strategies, key financial metrics, cost recovery, and risk of impact of adopted pricing strategies.
Price Adjustments: Responsible for managing and capturing assumptions of cost build up, auditing worksheets for contract annual price adjustments including wage determination rate, scope changes, and other changes impacting contract cost are properly priced and incorporated into the contract. Ensure price adjustments are accurately prepared, submitted timely, and follow-ups with business development/operations/Clients are completed as appropriate.
Administration: Ensure all pricing files and actions are properly documented and maintained to facilitate full life-cycle administration of the contract.
Contract and Finance Support : Administer, manage and support federal contracts in the areas of contract review, contract analysis, working with government counterparts as appropriate. Support finance and controller functions to perform pricing adjustments each quarter for select contracts; review contract / SOW modifications for cost implications requiring Equitable Adjustments.
Additional activities : May include preparing budgets and schedules for contract work and performing and/or assisting in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, resource planning and variance analysis. Incorporating contractual changes into control systems by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract in order to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines.
R E P O R T I N G & A D M I N I S T R A T I O N
Performing analyses and prepare reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines.
Setting up, preparing and following up with all required financial reports. Consume and understand all of the Company financial performance, metrics, budgets, income statements and business objectives.
Effectively communicating with leadership metrics and deliverables.
Participating in knowledge transfer and best practices sharing with peers.
Escalate billing, accounting, labor, procurement, policy, or other miscellaneous and contract compliance issues, as appropriate, to Finance / Sector leadership.
Assisting in preparing for internal and external audits.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AT ENTRY

Basic Qualifications
U.S Citizenship preferred.
At least 18 years of age.
Ability to acquire and maintain any other specific special clearances / access requirements.
Education/Experience
A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or equivalent. Additional relevant experience may be substituted for the required education on the basis of one calendar year of experience for one academic year of education.
At least five (5) years' government contracting / cost & pricing experience (for services), or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.
At least five (5) years' experience working with GSA schedules, working knowledge of cost modeling, FAR, CAS, EPAARS and DFARs and experience with SAM.
Those with Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM) are preferred.
