This role will lead a team of Project Managers, providing day to day work direction, 1-1 support, and resource planning. This role also provides support to business technology managers, business partners, resources, and external resources involved in project execution. They will lead medium to large projects, follow up on action items and help perform project tasks. They will manage and coordinate meetings, complete and track action items and deliverables, maintain program and project tracking using various tools and help prepare for project, team and program review meetings. Attention to detail, organization, facilitation, communication, business process improvement, and self-initiative are key skills for this role.



MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS



Education: Associate or Bachelor degree in Information Technology or Business preferred.


Experience: 8- 10 years of related experience.

Any appropriate combination of education and experience as determined by management.


Travel: 10%


Work Schedule: Typical work hours are between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday. However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.





Resource Management:




  • Assigns members of the PM team to projects based on size, scope and experience.




  • Effectively manages a resource plan for the PM team.






Relationship Management and Leadership:




  • Develops and maintains a productive working relationship with business owners, project sponsors, vendors, consultants and key clients. Role is responsible for all communication related to the project to appropriate audiences.




  • Integrates PMI PM standards and develops training path for PM growth.




  • Leads the PM team through project execution.




  • Ensures PM team is meeting business needs.




  • Actively participates in Faith's hiring referral and mentoring program, as appropriate.






Project Management and Planning:




  • Utilizes standard project templates and methods, develops the project plan in conjunction with other project resources.




  • Assists project managers, technology leaders, and business users in identifying the resources needed, availability, and assignments of tasks to complete project(s), resolves conflicts in priorities, tasks and dependencies for the project team.




  • Tracks and manages task/action item completion, completes tasks assigned to them, keeps project team informed.




  • Leads project meetings and portfolio reporting status of assigned projects.






Problem Solving and Analysis:




  • Facilitates gathering of information required to determine level of effort for estimating cost, scope, timeline, process and resources needed for project completion.




  • Ensures project, technical and business requirements, functional and non-functional, are identified and achieved throughout project execution.




  • Manages project budget, time and scope.




  • Resolves conflicts in priorities, tasks, dependencies for the project team.




  • Identifies other potential project predecessors or impacts and options to mitigate risk or complexities.




  • Makes recommendations for system or process improvements that meets business needs or drives business value, identifies cost, risks, benefits and work effort needed for recommendations.




  • Ensures business needs are met and business value achieved throughout project execution.
