Your new company


Our client, a national General Contractor known for building large-scale projects, is looking to hire a Senior Preconstruction Manager to join their experienced preconstruction team of eighteen. You will be part of bidding and leading on large-scale projects across data centers, commercial, life science, healthcare, education, government, multifamily and office.


Our client, although established, are looking to add to the team due to experiencing growth in certain markets such as mission-critical.



Your new role
The Senior Preconstruction Manager will manage a team of 3-5 Preconstruction Managers and lead multiple projects. You will oversee all aspects of project estimating during the Preconstruction phase. Evaluating feasibility, creating budgets from early design to bid preparation, comparing costs, identifying savings, and delivering clear reports to both internal teams and external partners. Producing budget estimates from conceptual design to final bidding, value engineering and performing presentations both internally and externally.



What you'll need to succeed

• 7+ years in estimating/preconstruction, working for medium to large General Contractors.


• Experience bidding on mission-critical projects is a plus but not essential.


• Leadership Skills: people management experience


• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field
