Process Manager

We are looking for a Process Manager - Cutting Toolsfor our Lake Orion facility. In this role you will ensure the correct processes are defined, trained, adhered to and audited for all the cutting tool processes in the factories. The factories need to have all the necessary tools, fixtures, and equipment to effectively process cutting tools, especially as future product lines are rolled out.

Your Responsibilities:

• Ensures factories involved in producing Cutting Tool products are prepared, equipped and staffed to support Market Segment growth strategies as defined by the Engineering Operations Support Manager
• Ensures consistency of Cutting Tool processes throughout Centers of Competence
• Subject Matter Expert for the Cutting Tool segment supporting the Segment Manager as needed
• Develops and implements new production solutions, and processes based on customer and segment requirements
• In-depth knowledge of all equipment related to the Cutting Tool processes
• Works closely with the Fixture Designers and Center Managers for improved solutions on processing Cutting Tools throughout the process
• Develops Local Process Owners (LPO's) for each Center of Competence who is trained to guarantee consistent and accurate deployment of segment processes at the local level
• Defines and conducts process audits to ensure compliance
• Supports Quality team to achieve their goals and customers' expectations by developing and improving processes
• Advises sales team and customers with technical support
• Supports HSE on audits and daily walkthrough
• Support Operational Excellence when process improvements are necessary

Your Profile:

• Bachelor's degree, engineering preferred, Experience substitutes
• 5+ years of experience in an Operations environment
• Demonstrated history of progressive operational responsibility
• Strong Leadership and people-oriented Skills
• Specific Market Segment knowledge such as product applications, materials, quality specifications, etc.
