The Impact You'll Make in this Role
The Service Technician will be responsible for repair, calibration, and certification of customer-owned devices for the Solventum Health Care Services Group. This key contributor will provide technical and product support, knowledge, and advice to resolve technical problems.

As a Service Technician you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Diagnosing, repairing, adjusting, installing, and performing preventative maintenance on medical devices


• Developing and demonstrating product expertise and training skills, in order to act as a resource for customers, sales, and other technicians in handling complex situations


• Creating repair estimates including the costs of service parts and labor


• Maintaining local service parts inventories with the support of the supply chain team


• Identifying problems and improvement opportunities

Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution


• Two (2) years plus of experience working in product repair in a private, public, government or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Diagnosing, repairing, adjusting, installing, and performing preventative maintenance on medical devices


• Experience operating common tools and test equipment required to repair devices


• Experience generating service repair documentation to maintain repair traceability and facilitate customer invoicing


• Experience with IS0 13485 Quality Systems regulations


• Proficient in Microsoft Windows operating system including Microsoft 365

Work location: Onsite at our Healthcare Service Center, Oakdale MN

Travel: May include up to 10% international/domestic

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $69,245 - $84,632, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
