Helper | Paint - 1st shift at Volt in Newport Beach, California

Job Description:

Volt is immediately hiring Painter Helpers for an Aerospace Manufacturing Company located in Newport Beach, CA.

As a Painter Helper you will:

• Clean surfaces thoroughly to remove dust, grease, or debris
• Carefully apply different types of coatings to surfaces, including primer, top coat, and dry film lubricant to help reduce friction and wear.
• Develop new ways to organize and position parts on racks to make the painting process more efficient
• Adjust spacing, angles, and mounting methods to ensure optimal coverage, reduce waste, and speed up production
• Inspect the painted surfaces for imperfections, such as uneven coverage, bubbles, or drips, and make corrections as needed
• Maintain clear communication with the team lead to ensure alignment on tasks and goals.

This is a Full-Time Opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 1-3 years' with painting in aerospace background
• Possess solid painting techniques for superior finishing.
• Preferred, though not required: Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 6AM-2:30PM


Pay Rate: $16.50 to $19.00 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
