Overview

WAREHOUSE SUPPORT DELIVERY DRIVER (Cedar Park, Texas)
Join our team of leaders in electrical power system maintenance, repair, testing & training. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Warehouse Support / Delivery Driver in Austin, Texas to ensure our Field Service Technicians have the needed supplies & equipment to effectively perform customer work.

Responsibilities

• 
  
  • Works in Tool Room and Field Service Fleet Management Operations.
  
  
  • Monitor field service physical assets (Pool Trucks/Trailers, Test Equipment, etc.) to maximize responsiveness to Field Service Technicians.
  
  
  • Monitor physical assets to ensure company process compliance.
  
  
  • Monitor calibration program to ensure compliance and effectiveness and send equipment when needed to calibration lab.
  
  
  • Monitor internal inventory to ensure consumable items are stocked and ready for use by the Technicians.
  
  
  • Oversee and maintain non-expendable and durable inventory to ensure availability and serviceability.
  
  
  • Ensure trailers are stocked and ready to deploy
  
  
  • Account for, maintain and perform minor repairs for all issued equipment.
  
  
  • Coordinate and makes deliveries of test equipment to job sites and pick-up/drop off items for repair.
  
  
  • Perform basic Preventive Maintenance program for fleet vehicles and notifies superiors of any maintenance requirements for the vehicles.
  
  
  • Occasionally go on Field Service projects to assist where requested.
  
  

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Familiarity with operating a forklift.


• Strong communication skills (verbal and written);


• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.


• Attention to detail is a must.


• Basic PC proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a quick turnaround.


• CDL is a plus, but not required.

Other Requirements:

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and periodic, unannounced random drug tests.


• Must have a valid driver's license and good Motor Vehicle Record.


• All offers are conditioned on acceptable results from a background check and drug and alcohol screening.


• Must be able to safely stand, walk, carry, and lift up to 75 lbs. Must be able to pass a fit-for-duty physical exam.


• Must be able to travel overnight approximately 20% of the time to job sites.

Pay Range

USD $22.00 - USD $30.00 /Hr.
