SA-TECH supports munitions delivery training for Air Force, Army, Navy and Marine Corps air and ground crews through USAF Air Combat Command’s Primary Training Ranges (PTR). We deliver OM&S services to PTR bombing and gunnery (B&G) ranges and electronic warfare (EW) ranges, supporting remote threat emitters, mission data processing, range communications, weapons impact and electronic combat scoring.
We are currently looking to hire a General Maintenance Worker (GMW) on a part-time seasonal basis (30 hours per week from roughly June 2 - October 31) at our PTR site at Mountain Home Air Force Base near Bruneau, ID to perform basic maintenance on range vehicles, equipment and targets. This position requires practical skills in various trades such as welding, fencing, heavy equipment operation and general vehicle maintenance.
The GMW performs general maintenance and repair of equipment and buildings requiring practical skill and knowledge (but not proficiency) in such trades as painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work. Work involves replacing electrical receptacles, wires, switches, fixtures, and motors; using plaster or compound to patch minor holes and cracks in walls and ceilings; repairing or replacing sinks, water coolers, and toilets; painting structures and equipment; repairing or replacing concrete floors, steps, and sidewalks; replacing damaged paneling and floor tiles; hanging doors and installing door locks; replacing broken window panes; and performing general maintenance on equipment and machinery.
