Description: Our client is currently seeking a Communication Specialist III
JOB DESCRIPTION
Serve as the main day-to-day internal communication specialist for our division and business function areas, supporting Senior Leadership Team members and working with designated Communications Leads to support the business in their communication needs. Responsible for developing and executing communication strategies that help drive the transformational initiatives forward and also informs and engages employees in the organization's vision, goals, and progress. Develops strong relationships and acts as a trusted advisor to business functional leaders and content owners; consults and develops solutions leveraging available communication channels.

Cross-Functional Collaboration (20%)
Collaborate with Communications Leads on other functional areas (Change Management, Organizational Design, etc.) to ensure alignment and integration of communication efforts across the organization
Build partnerships with key internal stakeholders
Collaborate with leaders and key content managers across division/function to identify communications gaps and opportunities
Help drive alignment across communication channels
Strategic Communication/ Communication Planning & Project Management (50%)
Create, curate, and manage high-quality content for various communication platforms, ensuring consistency in messaging and alignment with organizational goals
Manage the internal flow of key information between executive, transformation, comms and change management teams
Manages internal comm events with degree of independence, including drafting executive memos, talking points, town hall presentations, intranet articles and content, building and designing intranet pages and SharePoint sites, writing, coordinating and editing communications in coordination with TMOs/PMOs
Prepare messaging and other internal materials such as posts and news briefings
Track and analyze the effectiveness of communication strategies and campaigns, using metrics and feedback to continuously improve and adapt approaches
Employee Communications (20%)
Leverage internal communication channels and platforms including Splash, MCloud email/newsletters, and Digital Screens for communications with goal to keep employees informed, engaged and motivated to contribute to the organization's success
Effectively use audience targeting including targeted content on Intranet and distribution lists
Advise partners and departments across the division/function on the best internal communications approach, to help them achieve their goals in respect to what employees think, feel and do
Provide communication support for internal events
Processes & Resources (10%)
Responsible for ensuring business content managers adhere to guidelines and processes for internal communications
Partner closely with Communications Leads to leverage establishes processes and channels for communication
Establish and use metrics to determine success of communications plans and tactics
Minimum Qualifications & Experience: List knowledge, skills, abilities, mental demands and behaviors; i.e. # years of experience, education level preferred, licenses and/or certifications, tolerance for multiple demands, ability to work with others, etc.
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or a related role.
Proven experience in developing and executing communication strategies and plans.
Excellent writing, editing, storytelling and content creation skills.
Strong project management and organizational skills with proven track record of delivery.
Ability to build strong relationships and act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and stakeholders.
Proficiency in using communication tools and platforms (e.g., intranet, email newsletters, digital screens).
Strong analytical skills to measure and improve communication effectiveness.
Superior knowledge and understanding of employee communications methodologies, tools, and vehicles.
Deep insight and a thorough understanding of the business environment/industry in which the business operates
Superior listening and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain open and flexible in a changing environment
Proven ability to maintain confidentiality.
TECHNICAL SKILLS: Must Have
Ability to build strong relationships and act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and stakeholders
Excellent writing, editing, storytelling and content creation skills
Proficiency in using communication tools and platforms (e.g., intranet, email newsletters, digital screens).
Proven experience in developing and executing communication strategies and plans
