This position strategizes, directs and manages the development and implementation of communications, client services and account management within the Market Development and Smart Card Administration divisions and directs the development of strategy, planning, implementation, execution, and tracking for group fare products.

Duties & Responsibilities:    
ESSENTIAL:  


  •  Recruits staff to include interviewing, hiring, assigning work, training, coaching, and counseling ensuring consistent application of Employee Guidelines, processes, and procedures. Conducts performance reviews, and holds employees accountable for optimal performance of their responsibilities.

  •  Negotiates, and manages annual contracts for each pass program within the organization.

  •  Researches and develops new business and revenue generating opportunities to effectively increase revenue and ridership.

  •  Develops annual outreach plans, communications and collateral materials for pass program participants and provides analysis of market segments and business trends.

  •  Develops and conducts training of internal staff and external customers on pass program and smart card related functions, including web portal administration, maintaining point of sale terminals and smart media encoders.

  •  Manages smart card production, pass distribution, inventory, smart card web portal maintenance and administration, daily cash transmittal reports, reports in BI Portal, card activation, deactivation, suspensions, recharges, memory list management, data analysis, and pricing analysis.

Qualifications:    


  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related field.

  •  A minimum of ten years of experience in a marketing/communications environment performing marketing, outreach and sales strategies and plan development and new product development

  •  A minimum of five years of experience in a supervisory capacity leading and motivating sales, marketing, outreach and/or account management professionals.

  •  A minimum of five years of experience in the management of complex and significant projects and contracts including Request for Proposal (RFP) processes.

  •  A minimum of five years of experience decision-making within a complex and politically sensitive environment.

  •  A minimum of five years of experience negotiating financial terms and conditions with a broad customer base including but not limited to government entities, corporations, neighborhood groups, and non-profits.

  •  Proficiency with planning and developing annual plans including goals, budgets, strategies, and market analysis.

  •  Proficiency in ADA regulations, HIPAA requirements and Colorado low income guidelines.

  •  Proficiency in accounting practices related to program audits, reconciliations, and invoicing.

  •  Proficiency in employee benefit programs and the federal tax codes regarding employer transportation benefits.

  •  Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, intermediate skills in Excel required.

  •  Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing and to make presentations to internal and external customers at all organization levels.

  •  Ability to use sound judgment.

  •  Ability to manage time and workload effectively which includes planning, organizing and prioritizing with attention to detail.

Pay Range:

$100,284.00 - $141,650.25 Annual
