Position Overview

The Senior Financial Analyst – IT Finance is central in further developing and maintaining the integrity of IT department financial results during monthly, quarterly and annual accounting and reporting activities and assisting in the development of the annual budget.  This responsibility includes problem solving while following established internal financial controls and policies and ensuring that there is consistency of GL financial data by analyzing and interpreting transactions that are recorded to the GL.  This position also assists in general ledger transformations creating a unified and streamlined financial systems architecture across the Company.

What You’ll Do


  • Responsible for providing analytical and accounting skills for the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting and reporting activities and audits for the IT Department

  • Responsible for interpreting and analyzing financial information related to the general ledger journal entries and transactions

  • Accountable for maintaining and overseeing the accurate generation of Purchase Orders and processing of IT Departmental invoices in accordance with budgeted costs in areas such as contracted salaries, software licenses, data processing charges, hardware purchases and intercompany allocations

  • Assist in the preparation of the IT annual budget and review of IT departmental budgets

  • Ensure adherence to proper internal controls and policies and interface with key internal and external customers as part of daily responsibilities and project teams

Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

  • 2+ years of accounting experience

  • Great Excel Skills

  • High attention to detail and analysis

  • Self-starter/self-motivated with excellent communication skills who is not afraid to ask questions when necessary

Compensation

The estimated salary range for this role is $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills and experience.
